Lacey joined the company in February of 2025, bringing years of experience caring for pets. She began pet sitting in college and quickly grew to love caring for animals. Treating every pet as if they were her own became a guiding principle, ensuring both the animals and their owners felt at ease.
Growing up in Marshall, MI, Lacey was always surrounded by animals, primarily dogs and cats, but also had a hedgehog and a bunny. She even helped with the birthing process of pets for family and friends, which deepened her understanding of animal care. With a degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology from the University of Kansas, her passion for wildlife and nature extends beyond pets—she loves birdwatching, has worked as an entomology lab assistant, participated in a Herpetology Field Course collecting and preserving Kansas reptile and amphibian specimens for the university’s Natural History Museum to support conservation research, and even spent a summer as a Seasonal Park Ranger.
Currently, Lacey shares her home with two adorably chunky cats, Cannoli and Simon. Cannoli enjoys lounging in cozy spots and savoring lickable treats, while Simon is an energetic fetch enthusiast known for his dramatic “Tokyo Drift” sprints across the apartment.
With a strong background in animal care and a deep appreciation for all living things, Lacey is excited to provide compassionate and reliable pet-sitting services. Whether caring for cats, dogs, or other animals, she is dedicated to ensuring every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved.
