Larry Roland joined Spokane’s Best Pet Sitter in July of 2024, after being a client for the past three years. Larry brings a lifetime of experience, love and care for a variety of pets and farm animals. He was raised on a small ranch in Priest River, Idaho where he helped raise horses, chickens, pigs, goats and lots of dogs and cats. When Larry was a teenager, he moved to Yakima, WA where he graduated from high school.

After high school, Larry served in the Marine Corps. As a young man, Larry worked as a logger and drove logging trucks. His career has been as a commercial long-haul truck driver. He always had one of his dogs with him while out on the road. He thinks they are the “best company anyone could have”.  He enjoys interacting and caring for animals. He likes their different personalities and earning their trust. His life-long dream has been to have an animal rescue sanctuary. Larry recently retired and keeps busy with his two dogs, Charlie and CeCe.  He also has a daughter, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  We are excited to have Larry on board as one of our Professional Pet Sitters. caring for animals in the comfort of their own homes.
