Meet Robyn Ball — Field Supervisor and Lead Pet Sitter
For Robyn, caring for animals has been part of life since childhood.
A Spokane native, Robyn grew up surrounded by animals, including gerbils, guinea pigs, chicks, kittens, and a rescued puppy. She also spent summers at her grandfather’s farm near the foothills of Mt. Spokane, helping care for sheep, cows, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and even a pet toad that lived in the cellar.
Her love for animals continued throughout her life. Robyn has volunteered at animal sanctuaries and traveled to Puerto Rico several times to assist with spay-and-neuter programs.
Before returning to Spokane, Robyn owned and operated a successful pet sitting business in Carson City, Nevada. Her clients trusted her deeply and were heartbroken when she moved back to the Inland Northwest.
Today, Robyn shares her home with three rescued dogs—Roo, Bo, and Josie—as well as 14 chickens.
Experienced Leadership and Dependable Care
As Field Supervisor and Lead Professional Pet Sitter for Spokane’s Best Pet Sitter, Robyn helps support other members of our pet sitting team, assists with complex situations, and maintains the high standard of care our clients expect.
Her extensive hands-on experience helps her understand that every animal is different. Some pets are outgoing and immediately ready to play, while others need patience and time before feeling comfortable with someone new. Senior animals, rescue pets, and animals with medical needs may require additional understanding and attention.
Robyn approaches each pet with patience, compassion, and respect for its individual personality.
Calm, Responsible Care When It Matters Most
A professional pet sitter’s responsibility becomes especially important when an unexpected situation occurs while a client is away.
During Spokane’s wildfire emergency on August 1, 2026, Robyn safely evacuated four cats from a client’s home shortly before authorities closed the area to incoming traffic. One of the cats was receiving hospice care and depended on medication.
Robyn brought all four cats to her own home, continued caring for them, and then transported them to the client’s family. Her actions demonstrated the level of responsibility, compassion, and sound judgment she brings to the pets entrusted to her care.
