Meet Patty – Founder & Operations Manager

Patty Millin is the Founder and Operations Manager of Spokane’s Best Pet Sitter (formerly Ponderosa Patty Pet Sitting), a locally owned and professionally operated pet sitting company that has proudly served Spokane-area pet owners since 2017. Her mission has always been simple: provide dependable, compassionate, and professional pet care while allowing pets to remain happy and comfortable in their own homes.

A Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS), Patty is trained in Pet First Aid, oral medication administration, ophthalmic (eye) medications, and Sub-Q injections. Spokane’s Best Pet Sitter is also a proud member of Pet Sitters International (PSI) and the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), reflecting the company’s commitment to professionalism and continuing education for it’s Pet Sitters.

Born in Sandpoint, Idaho, her family later moved to a small ranch in Yakima Valley.  Patty developed a lifelong love of animals while helping to care for horses, cattle, chickens, cats and dogs to name a few.

After years in corporate America, Patty took an early retirement and a leap of faith, went back to school and completed Spokane Community College’s Business Entrepreneur Program in 2016.  She founded her pet sitting business in 2017 and expanded it into Spokane’s Best Pet Sitter in 2022.

Today, Patty oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, including client relations, scheduling, hiring, marketing, and training. She personally interviews and carefully selects every team member to ensure they share the company’s original mission of providing exceptional, trustworthy pet care with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.

Under Patty’s leadership, Spokane’s Best Pet Sitter has earned an A+ Accredited Business Rating with the Better Business Bureau and has received hundreds of five-star reviews from satisfied clients. Every team member is thoroughly vetted, trained, insured, and bonded, giving clients complete confidence and peace of mind while they’re away.

When she’s not working in the office, Patty enjoys hiking throughout the Inland Northwest with her two puppies, LeRoy and Daisy, and relaxing at home with her beautiful calico cat, Annabella.
